The Market provides up to 75 students with enough fresh ingredients for seven days of meals and differs from hundreds of university programs nationwide in that it’s an online-driven system – providing more flexibility during COVID-19, but also helping to maintain student privacy.

A bright spot: a prof said to me yesterday that he is very happy with how @virginia_tech has handled mode of teaching. "It was completely up to me." For the record, we are 60% online, 7% in person, and the rest various forms of hybrid. Extensive support for course design, lab 1/n

Good question. The graduate student lounge is open however, it is not part of the library seat reservation system and is first come, first served.
