Following last week's National Roundtable on Officer Safety, the Canadian Police Association and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police have sent a joint letter to Prime Minister Carney, on behalf of association presidents and executives, urging coordinated action to better protect police officers across Canada.
We call for targeted policy changes to enhance officer safety, increase accountability for violence against police, and improve the tools and resources available to police services.

Canadians spend Billions each year on Law Enforcement to:
A. Keep us safe
B. Investigate Crime and bring Criminals to Justice.
As Canadians dared to question the evidence, every police service in Canada either:
1. Failed both or
2. Failed both and silenced those who tried to expose the evidence.
Group 1 requires a major overhaul in leadership and training.
Group 2 requires external oversight into full criminal investigations of leadership on Criminal Negligence, Obstruction of Justice and Criminal Conspiracy followed by an overhaul in leadership and training.
Trust is not coming back until then.
