BUMMERTOWN is officially out now!
it’s full of reminders to take care of yourself.
it’s an adventure, an escape, a way to face your fears in a safe place. it’s full of weirdos + heros, dreams + scary things…
now you can visit BUMMERTOWN anytime you need to.
i could not have made this record without the magical musicians + co-writers that painted this dreamscape perfectly:
•
Owen Beverly: producer, mixer, co-writer (tracks 4, 6, 7, 9), bass, bgv’s, casio, keys, steel guitar, guitars, + sound design.
i loved writing these songs with you, @danielmarkham
thank you for the kind words + for playing an integral role in bringing this album to life!
I went to Nashville in September of 2021 to write songs with my friend @VANDARIEN. Today I received proof of that songwriting session in the form of her new LP Bummertown. This album is too good to be true. I’m so glad I got to be a part of it. Thank you, Vanessa!
💜i am fully aware that the world is weird right now…
I MADE BUMMERTOWN

some bts studio vibes with owen beverly.
i’ve spent a lot of time in this house over the years, filled with an ever-evolving cast of creatives, there’s a magic there you can feel.
it’s where owen beverly recorded the video for “haunted house”, scenes of “twisted metal”, + the sounds you hear on ʙᴜᴍᴍᴇʀᴛᴏᴡɴ. it’s where @curtis_wayne_millard + i have taken photos for “levee” + the cover of “bummertown”.
i’m so happy this video exists, our time recording “bummertown” was such a memorable experience.
