The courts today had no option but to free Constitution Defenders Forum (CDF) leaders Tendai Biti and Morgan Ncube after the state withdrew charges against the duo. The two were arrested on 21 March 2026 in Mutare and had been on remand for the past seven months having to travel to Mutare for court proceedings nearly every week. Again, they should not have been arrested or charged in the first place but we know ZANU PF and Mnangagwa use lawfare and state machinery to curtail and repress anyone who chooses to resist their kleptonmaniac and barbarian rule
Two months on, families are still mourning while those responsible remain untouched by accountability.
Negligence took lives. Silence has protected it. Justice cannot wait forever.

Two months later, families are still carrying the pain while those responsible have yet to answer for what happened.
Negligence was at the core. Accountability remains missing. Every day without answers deepens the injustice.

🔥 X SPACE SCOTTY | CITIZENS VOICE OUT 🇿🇼
📢 POLITICS WITHOUT POLITICIANS: CAN CITIZENS GOVERN THEMSELVES?
📚 Inspired by Hélène Landemore’s book Politics Without Politicians: The Case for Citizen Rule.
🇿🇼 ZIMBABWE: IS THE PROBLEM THE POLITICIANS, THE POLITICAL SYSTEM, OR THE CITIZENS WHO ALLOW IT TO CONTINUE?
We vote for leaders. We trust political parties. We wait for politicians to deliver. But what happens when citizens begin questioning the very system that gives politicians power?
🔥 Can ordinary citizens govern themselves without relying on career politicians?
⚖️ Should citizens have more power in making laws and holding leaders accountable?
🗳️ Is voting every five years enough to call a country democratic?
💭 Can Zimbabwe imagine a political system where citizens—not political elites—are at the centre of decision-making?
🎙️ CITIZENS VOICE OUT
Your voice. Your power. Your country.
🇿🇼 No party worship. No personality cults. Just honest conversations about power, democracy and the future of Zimbabwe.
🗣️ THE BIG QUESTION: DO WE NEED BETTER POLITICIANS, OR A SYSTEM THAT DOESN’T DEPEND ON POLITICIANS TO DO EVERYTHING?

🕯️ 2 Months onKariba is still mourning. President never came to Kariba.
Yet Zimbabwe watched attend lavish events while some Kariba families still have no closure, and some have never recovered the bodies of their loved ones.

#FAQs | On the Asylum Applications and the Constitutional Court Judgment
Did the Constitutional Court rule that everyone entering South Africa illegally becomes a refugee? No. The Court did not grant refugee status, asylum, permanent residence or citizenship to anyone.
The judgment only relates to access to the asylum application process, and every application must still undergo assessment and verification in terms of the Refugees Act.

One of the many things I love about my dad is that he won’t compromise his values for political expedience. He serves the God of justice who hates corruption and the exploitation of the poor for the benefit of the rich. Do what you will, you won’t rope him into your corrupt shenanigans. For him, it’s not “all about the profit and gain” (to quote the great @winkydonline).
@DavidColtart is in office to serve the people of Bulawayo. If you want to remove him, you’ll have to face the people of Bulawayo!

Government decided not to help its citizens & appeals to other organisations to help but goes on to say they want to control how aid is distributed?
What the fuck is wrong with these people?
You now want to loot the donations or politicise their distribution?
Shameless morons

This is a good man and a great leader, Recall him or whatever you will never recall our confidence on his leadership. Even if your evil plans succeed, David Coltart, will remain the greatest Mayor to Serve in our City Hall, the greatest Minister of Education in our lifetime.

🔸If those letters are authentic, recalling @DavidColtart from the position of Mayor of Bulawayo is a huge mistake. The biggest victims of this illegal move are the residents. This is a very sad day for Bulawayo.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
