Chiefs Charumbira, Nhema, Chitanga suspended Ministry of Local Government and Public Works Permanent Secretary Engineer Tafadzwa Muguti has announced the suspension of chiefs Fortune Charumbira, Chitanga and Nhema.

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Local Government, Eng. Tafadzwa Muguti warned NGOs, development partners and private players against giving assistance to hailstorm victims without government directive. He said all aid must be coordinated at district and provincial level.

Masvingo: Storm destroys part of Westview College perimeter wall. The college is owned by Businessman Philimon Mutangiri who also owns Riverton. Sources say the collapsed section had no drainage valves for runoff water. Repairs are currently underway.
