बीजेपी के नेता और फैजाबाद से पूर्व सांसद विनय कटियार ने बीजेपी और संघ के शीर्ष नेतृत्व को संदेश भेज कर अयोध्या से विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ने की इच्छा से अवगत करा दिया है।
खबर है कि विनय कटियार ने बीजेपी के शीर्ष नेतृत्व को भेजे संदेश में साफ़ कहा है कि वह सक्रिय राजनीति में वापसी करने का मन बना चुके हैं और अब यह पार्टी को तय करना है कि उन्हें 2027 में विधानसभा का टिकट देती हैं या 2029 में फैजाबाद लोकसभा सीट का।चुनाव वह ज़रूर लड़ेंगे।
अयोध्या राम मंदिर आंदोलन के प्रमुख भूमिका निभाने वाले नेताओं में शामिल रहे विनय कटियार को उम्मीद थी कि पार्टी उनको अयोध्या राममंदिर निर्माण में या राम मंदिर ट्रस्ट में जगह देगी।बीजेपी ने दोनों मामलों से विनय कटियार को दूर रखा।विनय कटियार फिर से राज्यसभा की उम्मीद कर रहे थे, वह भी नहीं मिली। 2024 में फैजाबाद सीट बीजेपी के हारने पर विनय कटियार ने उम्मीदवार चयन पर सवाल उठाया था। राम मंदिर में चढ़ावा चोरी पर चंपत राय पर प्रश्न खड़े किए थे।
विनय कटियार राम मंदिर आंदोलन के सबसे आक्रामक चेहरों में से एक थे।2002 से 2004 के दौरान यूपी बीजेपी के अध्यक्ष रहे। इसके बाद 2006 में बीजेपी के जनरल सेक्रेटरी भी बने।एक बार भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष रहे।1991, 1996 और 1999 में फैज़ाबाद सीट से तीन बार लोकसभा के लिए चुने गए। 2006 से 20218 तक दो बार राज्यसभा के सांसद रहे।2006 में रायबरेली से लोकसभा उपचुनाव भी लड़ा था,लेकिन सोनिया गांधी से हार गए थे।
पिछले कुछ समय से विनय कटियार ने बीजेपी, विश्व हिंदू परिषद और बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ताओं और अपने समर्थकों से दूरी बना ली थी, लेकिन अब फिर अयोध्या में डेरा डाल दिया है और जनसंपर्क शुरू कर दिया है।
विनय कटियार कुर्मी हैं और बीजेपी यूपी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष पंकज चौधरी भी कुर्मी हैं।
विनय कटियार चुनाव लड़ने की जिद कर रहे हैं और पार्टी का शीर्ष नेतृत्व चाहता है कि विनय कटियार अब आराम करे।संघ के वरिष्ठ नेता को विनय कटियार को समझाने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है।
अभी अयोध्या विधानसभा सीट पर बीजेपी के वेद प्रकाश गुप्ता विधायक हैं,जिन्होंने 2017 में भी पार्टी के टिकट पर यह सीट जीती थी।
बीजेपी की बेरुखी से दूर विनय कटियार ने अयोध्या के अपने घर 'हिंदू धाम' में कार्यकर्ताओं से मिलना शुरू कर दिया है।

Simple reason why this won’t work is because Putin won’t agree to freezing the frontline where it is right now .
He hasn’t still taken Donbass after 12 years.
He is stuck in both Donetsk and Luhansk ( esp in the Lyman direction)
That’s the problem.
