I was definitely being reactionary with this post.
At 2-7-1, the #Canucks are well on their way to another top 5 pick.
The #Canucks game tonight taught us that we may need to trade some of these vets sooner than expected.
We cannot be stacking up too many wins. But if they win enough early in the year, the vets could likely fetch huge trade packages.

You can’t sign for $9 million and be this trash. It’s fucking embarrassing
It's obviously early, but Zeev Buium has been the biggest disappointment so far this season, by a long shot. He's shown no improvement over last season at all. If anything, he looks worse. It's horrible optics sending your $9M guy down to Abby, but he looks over his head at the NHL level.
I do like what I see from Willander though. His skating stands out, particularly in the D zone, and he looks much more calm/confident with the puck on his stick.

Jake Debrusk did not sign up for a rebuild, which is hilarious. Hopefully the Canucks can trade this guy for scraps, I’m looking to his “era” with the #Canucks cones to an end soon
