NEW: Activists in Georgia posted flyers naming one of the cops in Tortuguita’s killing. They were arrested, placed in solitary confinement and now face a felony and 20 years in prison. W/ @natashalennard theintercept.com/2023/05/02/…
liberals rarely say the quiet part out loud, which is that they believe homeless people should be either 1) in concentration camps, 2) in shitty substandard housing or 3) eradicated

The irony of people who's job it is to send people to jail where they're regularly touched inappropriately and verbally harassed by DOC staff, complaining that their prosecutor boss is giving unwanted physical touches and making "off-color" comments

Trying to understand why "Kate" would get anonymity when its just an interview, while people who are victims of state violence rarely get it
In this installment of Vermont Public's "What class are you" series, reporter Erica Heilman speaks with Kate, a 43-year-old who lives deep in the woods in Central Vermont, and, for some legal reasons, was granted anonymity.

One of the most pernicious, but common forms of propagada is the curation by media elites of which scientific studies are reported as "news" and which "experts" are selected to discuss their significance.
Pretty amazing framing in the NYT this morning: What having young workers been missing?
Less surveillance and "less supervision."
Really clearly laying out how the NYT is a paper for the managerial & owning class and NOT the working class. nytimes.com/2023/04/24/busin…

"Rome wasn't built in a day" yeah well that's probably bc their development review laws were unfriendly to adequate zoning reforms accounting for mixed-use multi unit development
nothing better than liberals who have never read marx talking about economic class as if there's no power or exploitation involved in ones class position
Erica Heilman recently asked people she encountered in the Northeast Kingdom, "what class are you?" Now, a second week-long installment of Erica's class series is coming next week. In the meantime, catch up on the first part here ⬇️ bit.ly/40rQCaD
