two years ago, nader invited us to demo @jokerace_ioβ when you had to spend $50 over dozens of transactions on other sites to allowlist voters. we were surviving off grant money from @0xPolygon in the early days, and we'd just gone live.
it took about 30 minutes for me to demo a single contest. nader patiently asked questions while i spent the balance of my wallet waiting for each transaction to go through.
today anyone can create a contest in 30 seconds for about $0.10 right from our site, and allowlists are fully optional. it feels pretty easy, but it's been years of work.
and it's only thanks to early supporters like nader that we've been able to get the traction to get to where it is today.

Here are the most important problems:
1. We've always been teaching people about difficult concepts like blockchain, PoW, PoS, etc. But, think about how everyone uses Google daily without understanding the underlying mechanics of the internet.
2. Onboarding barriers and costs. As soon as you want to make your first transaction, you need a gas token. Maybe it's a penny but you need it.
3. UX and security. Interacting with web3 applications is not easy at all.
Our philosophy at @Unitap_app is to involve people in web3 instead of burdening them with understanding complex concepts. We believe that starting the journey into Web3 shouldnβt come with an entrance fee. Unitap makes sure everyoneβs initial steps into Web3 are free, easy, and understandable. We've been cooking Learn Tap to solve the first and the second problem and we're looking for those projects that aim to solve the third problem.
