What ^ founders felt @ that YC sound bath wasn't magic. It was trance, a normal brain state you drift in / out daily. On 10/10

Attended a sound bath session at @ycombinator Reboot and experienced a strange sensation. Talking to fellow YC founders made me realise that some went into a state of trance.
Posted this experience on X and a friend told me he's a trained hypnotherapist from last 10 years and HYPNOSIS IS REAL!
I am a founder, a man of science. Skeptical of such claims but my friend is legit. So, I am hosting this intimate event with him to explore this domain.

Coming from a Mac, the Yoga 9i 2 in 1 is pretty great. Keyboard has a better feel to it, Omarchy runs well with some agent configuration, and there are 5 hotkeys on the right that you can use for pretty much anything! I set * to dedicate to voxtype (parakeet). Biggest annoyance is that the command key isn't large enough, and they put both alts next to space.
Ok. I’ve got a 64gb m1 Mac that’s mostly collecting dust. If this works well, I’ll splash for a panther lake machine.

We've already made great progress. @tiredkebab has been plugging away at this almost since the beginning. You can already do M1 and M2 with a little elbow grease. Next step is just an ISO that works as simple as x86. github.com/omarchy-mac/omarc…

I wouldn't be surprised if the models are getting worse at following instructions and retain all the same intelligence constraints as before (ie. net new creativity).
We already have active debate last few months of llm upper limits and the need for better world models

anthropic won't let you use fable for biology, chemistry, ai research, or anything that accelerates human progress. that makes it the perfect tool for developing blockchains
The trust gap in AI: people want deterministic outcomes, but AI is probabilistic.
Use AI to write deterministic software.
Make no mistakes.
The problem with coding agents / LLMs is that they make you think you’re 95% done when you’re 20% done. That’s the addiction.
Most useful prompt in the last day of vibe coding:
how confident do you feel about this plan? what are the gaps?
