It's worth noting that these transcripts illustrate Helen Steel's exemplary grasp of detail and razor-sharp analysis. In T3P3D26 she nails how MPSB officers inside and outside of SDS knew HN5 John Dines & she were in a relationship, and that HN10 Bob Lambert set it up. #spycops

But these (and 9 more exhibits) were previously accessible through the Index to Bundle released in August. It's almost as if the chaotically byzantine publishing schedule of the #spycops inquiry is intentional. ucpi.org.uk/wp-content/uploa…

I see that the #spycops inquiry has drip-released some more documents onto its website today - Duwayne Brooks' First Statement, and 17 associated exhibits (out of at least 43). ucpi.org.uk/wp-content/uploa… ucpi.org.uk/published-eviden…

Your periodic public service announcement that some documents have been published on the #spycops inquiry website (because, like, it's too much, y'know, HASSLE for @ucpinquiry to do it): TS for HN60 ‘Dave Evans’; witness statements/exhibits from @davenellist & @StaffordScott_.

Helen Steel managed to ask the question that had eluded every counsel to the inquiry over the years: if the met's apology was truly apologetic, why did it put its heart into withholding every drop of information it could? Well beyond the point of dignity? #spycops
NB: We still don't know the real name of 'Dave Evans'. Why does the inquiry insist on protecting the identities of proven liars like him & 'Matt Rayner' - after previously promising not to do this for any #spycops who'd deceived women for sex? theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

I said in my evidence to the #spycops inquiry that 'come the revolution', I'll make the tea. Turns out I'll be bag monitor.
But despite letting its press office know to expect this delivery, the Home Office staff were reluctant to receive it. Almost as if they don't want to hear what #Spycops survivors want for the future of this public inquiry. #Democracy #Police #Undercover

"It stinks of a cover up" The @M_Star_Online have already covered the story of the Home Office's latest attempts to shut up #spycops survivors and shut down the @ucpinquiry morningstaronline.co.uk/arti…
What happened next - when a small group of 3 #spycops survivors tried to hand these letters in (having waited outside patiently for several hours) - was a wonderful example of how little regard the @ukhomeoffice have for any of us: "#traumainformed" ?

Maybe the @ucpinquiry will shock us all on Monday by releasing his real name into the wild? After 'HN60's given his evidence & publicly admitted to tricking at least one woman into a sexual relationship during his #spycops deployment, there is no excuse to maintain his anonymity
But wot about Mitting’s pledge to real name every #spycop known to have abused women…?

TBF he's already monetised his consent-untroubled fantasies in his #spycops novels
As a #SpyCop in the 1980s this geezer was a dead loss, and none of the anarchist women he had wet dreams about would touch him with a barge pole. Now in old age, his fantasy is legalised rape. Bit of a pattern emerging here. Someone should tell his wife.

The absolute lack of respect shown by the @ukhomeoffice is off the scale. Even when given advance notice they failed to have somebody meet us and formally receive the response to THEIR consultation on the future of the #spycops inquiry! #ShameOnThem
campaigners are outside the Home Office this morning, making sure they know how we feel about their 'consultation' and why it's so important that the #spycops inquiry continues...

This abuse of state power over decades should be far better publicised. See BELOW The UK media has for the most part completely ignored it (Whatever one’s views about the police behaviour, their appalling conduct is newsworthy and has plenty of human interest) #spycops
The deployment of secret undercover political police into protest groups for years at a time is shocking. But it’s only part of the story of the UK state’s covert human surveillance of activists. Once someone ended up with a #spycops officer in their life, that was only the start of being under scrutiny. Through the Undercover Policing Inquiry process we have heard of many of the other tactics that have been used to target campaigners. The Special Branch undercover police would share their intelligence with the Security services MI5, who issued the officers with ‘shopping lists’ of information on dissidents they were interested in. We heard reference to individual informers who were active within organisations for over 20 years. Since the closing down of the original spycops units, the use of infiltration methods that do not include the field deployment of serving police officers has only grown.

We went to the @ukhomeoffice today to deliver 2600+ responses to their public consultation on the future of the #spycops inquiry, but they didn't want to know. Check the thread for what happened next...
What #spycops campaigners took along to deliver in person to the Home Office = hundreds of carefully written, personal letters from individuals (many of whom were spied upon) & groups + then names of 2496 other people who want the @ucpinquiry to continue
