My favorite #hiphop albums of 2024. The Preface, @ELZHI @naturesounds We All We Got, the Dogg Pound @deathrowrecords The Auditorium, @Common and @PeteRock @LomaVistaRC Majician, @OfficialKURIOUS @metalfacerecs No Fear of Time, Black Star @rhymesayers

I really enjoyed reading High and Rising by @MarcusJMoore. The book is a beautiful tribute to a classic album by a brilliant rap group. #bookstoread #hiphop #HipHopCulture #RIPDave

I enjoyed reading Didion and Babitz by @LiliAnolik . I'm in love with Babitz but I'm in awe of Didion. #BooksWorthReading #bookstoread

Little Rot by @yungdeadthing is fantastic. It's action packed and filled with sex and violence. Colorful characters making horrendous choices and falling into horrific rabbit holes. Very entertaining. #BooksWorthReading #bookstoread

If I wore 2 pairs of sunglasses at once, could I look safely at tomorrow's eclipse? #EclipseSolar2024

I can't stop listening to Heavy Vibrato, the album by @ELZHI and @ohnothedisrupt on @naturesounds. Its nice to know lyricism, story telling, and raw beats still matter. #Hiphop #HipHopMusic #hiphopculture

I'm digging the new album: Richmond Hill by @mastaace and @marcopolobeats. Thoughtful, intelligent rap songs and good guest appearances. Thank you @fatbeats. #Hiphop #hiphopmusiclovers

My favorite #Hiphop of 2023: Skinemaxxx @flyanakin @LexRecords Integrated Tech Solutions @AesopRockWins @rhymesayers The Return @LivingLegends We Buy Diabetic Test Strips @ArmandHammerNYC @FatPossum Liberation 2 by @TalibKweli and @madlib @naturesounds

It looks cold and windy. #SoulTrainAwards

I'm about to watch these #SoulTrainAwards Let's go

I enjoyed Easy Money by @ben_mckenzie . It's a complex subject, but the book does a great job explaining so even a simpleton like me can follow. You don't need to be an economist to understand why #cryptocurrency is a scam.

The Calendar section of today's @latimes is fantastic. #HIPHOP #hiphop50th #HipHopCulture #hiphop50thanniversary

I loved reading Son Of The City by @DanteRoss. It helps, but you don't need to be a nostalgic #hiphop nerd like me to enjoy it. #BooksWorthReading #BookTwitter #HipHop50

I really enjoyed reading the book: Preset by @SarinaDahlan It's a cool #scifi novel that explores what people in power are willing to do to keep people docile. #BooksWorthReading #BookstoRead

Loosing sucks. But I'm a proud #Lakers fan. From how they started the season to where they ended up. Quite an accomplishment. #Lakers #Lakerstalk @AllenSliwa

The @SacramentoKings have a bright, bright future. @NBA @NBATV @NBAonTNT

My lovely sis, @aDandeLife, is a bookseller. She got me an A.R.C. of @colsonwhitehead 's new book Crook Manifesto and it's way, way too much fun. If you're a fan of Whitehead, particularly Harlem Shuffle, you should be excited. #BooksWorthReading #BookTwitter

It's game time. Real #Lakers fans listen to the game on @ESPNLosAngeles with @LAIreland and @champagnennuts even if they're watching on T.V. Let's go! #Lakeshow #LakersNation

Just got the "new" @WeAreDeLaSoul CD in the mail. I'm excited for my morning commute. Thanks @amoebamusic @ChrysalisRecs #RipDave #trugoy #trugoythedove #hiphop #HipHop50

I bought De La Soul is Dead on cassette and listened to it on my morning walk to Middle School. Produced by @DJPrincePaul, I thought I was l listening to happiness itself. Rest in Peace #trugoy, you will be missed. #trugoythedove #hiphop #hiphopnews #hiphopculture
