If all girls completed secondary school, #ChildMarriage would fall by 66%.
Ahead of #DayoftheGirl tomorrow, let us empower girls and keep them learning in school.

On this Menstrual Hygiene Day, we want to mark our efforts at combatting period poverty through producing and providing reusable menstrual hygiene kits and giving sexual and reproductive health education to the women & girls, boys & men and communities of Sierra Leone! #MHD2022

Our in-country partner UMAN TOK ensures that our Days for Girls kits are created and distributed. The results: there have been ZERO pregnancies among our girl students over the past 3 years. Help us keep it going! One kit costs $11. Pls give what you can! bit.ly/GiveToSFSEmpowerGirls

*Happy International Women’s Day*
Today, we celebrate & reflect on the theme, "gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow"
Last Fri, we visited a SfS school at Mile 38 & gave these community women reusable menstrual hygiene kits & educated them on SRHE.
#IWD2022 #MHMatters
This year for #IWD2022, we recognize how gender equity and climate action go hand in hand. Celebrate with us and our partners @DaysForGirls and @Schools4Salone by supporting sustainable solutions for a happy, healthy planet!

Great work from. Our partners in Sierra Leone for educating everyone on Sexual and Gender based violence!

Low literacy rates remain a challenge to female leadership, enterprise and gender equality. In observation of the #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild our EAGER project staff together with adolescent girls across 4 rural districts developed advocacy messages against SGBV.

An inspiring afternoon @UmanTokSL on #IDG2021! Girls can miss up to 20% of school due to a lack of sanitary protection. Great to hear how the team’s menstruation kits help keep girls in school, as well as provide local employment. Plenti Tenki @UmanTokSL for having me over!

Today we celebrate the importance of empowering & supporting the girl child for her success in reaching her goals. Our audience with the Director General of Parliament Finda Fraser empowered us to continue on our path of putting the girl child first.
