Today I’m celebrating an important @uvic divestment decision - @uvic foundation has divested their equities, but millions in fixed investments remain, making this victory less clear than @SFU and @UofT. Grateful for the two generations of student activism that made this happen💪🏼

The Alliance, along with @AMS_UBC and @UVSS presented two asks at the 2022 Budget Brief. One of them being; more support for Sexualized and Gender-Based Violence at Post Secondary Institutes and recommended that the Prov. Gov. invest $5 million per year for its prevention.
