Our hearts are heavy after the July 4th flash‑flood devastation across Central Texas. In the the past 24–48 hours, too many Central Texas towns have flooded or are currently experiencing flooding. As anesthesiologists, we know first hand how precious life is and we can only imagine how these families are impacted right now. If you are looking for ways to help, consider donating to local organizations like the Cajun Navy, Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Texas Diaper Bank or Austin Pets Alive. As anesthesiologists, caregivers, and Texans, we are united through this, stay safe.
