@unipa_it contributes to great work made by @involcan in monitoring the #LaPalmaVolcano #eruption by performing #volcanic gas plume observations. With @joaopnlages and @marcellobitetto . We also fly #multigas in the plume with @EmmaLiu31 @ES_UCL and @DrKieranWood @UOBFlightLab

We worked with @Bristol_SU to put your #COVID19 questions to @adamhfinn, an expert in immunology and vaccine development 🦠
In the first of the series, we discuss why previously having the virus doesn't necessarily make you immune or prevent you transmitting it 😷

Second paper out of the research conducted by the #urbangulls Project in #Bristol! The gulls in Bristol can apparently adapt to our time schedules.
Another paper to come soon about their navigation in the city..... watch this space!

Who managed to catch our #DCOABOVE photo exhibit last week at #DeepCarb19?? All of the stunning images were taken and arranged by Matt Wordell. Feeling very nostalgic for the field! Our exhibit will be on display @carnegiescience until Jan 2020, kindly sponsored by L’Oreal-UNESCO

The Rabaul Volcanological Observatory are already responding to this new eruption at Ulawun using drone-based strategies to monitor the evolving hazard from lava flows. Great to see positive impact coming out of our #GCRF #impactacceleration training workshop earlier this year!
#Ulawun volcano erupted on 1 Oct 2019 after an extremely high Real Time Seismic Amplitude Measurement was noted. Incandescent fountain surmounted by tall ash-laden plume was seen being spewed from the eruptive vent at the base of the cone- Chris Lagisa's Photo via Sherine France
