Nick has ideas and goals about where the future of the right wing should go. And while the groypers dominate online they don’t have real institutional control of the Republican Party. I think mentally Nick knows he’s assembled his army, and now he’s looking for the path of least resistance to enter the castle. If he finds that the groypers can more easily purge Israel’s influence on the left and take power that way, I think it’s at least wise to entertain the idea. Now all of this could be cope and this could just be a giant Nick L. But I think he’s usually a few steps ahead.
