Throughout our entrepreneurial journey, we've often wanted to share more experience, behind the scenes, our adventures with other food people, etc. but it hasn't necessarily fit into any of the boxes of Stoke, COMMIS or B&P.

We even carved out a little space for Stoke to open a permanent location, and Stoke Deli Bar was born June 19, 2021.

We focus on using food to bring our local community together, as well as the greater community of chefs, restaurants and food start-ups across Canada. We're always looking for ways to celebrate Canadian food culture, and empower home cooks to find the joy in food.

We launched Bushel & Peck Neighbourhood Farm Shop on September 25, 2020. Located in The Fitzgerald Neighbourhood of St. Catharines, Ontario, B&P is a chef-curated selection of local and Canadian small batch crafted foods.

Many of them still trying to operate within the parameters of the new COVID restrictions, but were struggling to adapt with traditional sales channels evaporating overnight. So we decided to buy their products and curate them into a tote, which we would deliver across Niagara.

Life essentially got cancelled for the foreseeable future, and we knew our plans would have to change majorly. We were lucky in a way that running our pop-up had led us to open COMMIS, because take-out was booming and every chef in Niagara was out of work.

COMMIS culinary work space, where we'd not only store and prep our Stoke's food, but also rent the space out to other food entrepreneurs. Win-win. Just as we started planning our 2020 season–well you know what happened...
