The famous "three ranks taking turns" story comes from a later book. In Shogun 2 I care more about the fence than the myth. Holding a line is the real lesson.

Age of Empires II came out in 1999 and I still play it in 2026.
The Definitive Edition is from 2019 and it is still getting new content. Newer RTS games look better, but in this one I always know what is happening on the screen.
