The guy in charge of the ballots in Champaign County, Illinois is under federal indictment. He's also on the ballot.
Clerk Aaron Ammons is charged with obstruction for allegedly helping cover for his wife, a Democrat state rep facing eight counts of wire fraud. He asked to push his own federal trial to December so he could run this election, and he got it.
So how's that going? His office mailed more than 600 ballots with the wrong state House races on them. Early voting got shut down, and a lot of voters found out when they showed up. 28 people already voted on bad ballots, and those votes can't be fixed.
One of the races they botched is a seat the Republican won by 269 votes last time. His wife's district got scrambled too.
This is the same office that blamed a "cyberattack" in 2022, had an outage on Election Day 2024, and printed a GOP candidate's name as "Tad."
Congress gave him until Friday to explain himself. Republicans asked Illinois AG Kwame Raoul to step in, and his office wouldn't even comment.
If an indicted Republican clerk pulled this three weeks before an election, it would be on every network for a week. Instead it's crickets.

During one of Elon Musk’s Pennsylvania rallies, I had the opportunity to ask him his thoughts on a solution to the embedded deep state bureaucracy that relentlessly undermined Trump’s first term; they are still there and obviously still working against the will of the American people. Musk paused. He thought Trump was aware.
I’m not sure what the solution is except that it lies in unyielding adherence to the originalist fundamentals in our Constitution. It concerns me that the judicial branch may have already been compromised beyond redemption by the number of judges who are indoctrinated with leftist bias clearing the way for unconstitutional actions by the unelected cabal. They are still enacting Obama’s promised “fundamental change”. It seems on the verge of going beyond backstage manipulation to active violence.
Thank goodness for Data Republican for pulling back the curtain on these intentions. I can only hope the right people are listening.

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 1: THE PLAN 🚨
I am working on gathering all the documents.
Now, here's something to understand about the "democracy" and protest ecosystem: almost nobody knows the 'grand plan' so to speak. They simply agree to play a role.
For example, 99% of people breaking stuff on the streets believe they're doing it out of an organic uprising. They don't see that the police have been ordered to stand down. They don't see that legal services have already been arranged for them. They don't see that foundations are paying for their bonds.
Similarly here, governors aren't participating in a pact to destroy the Constitution. Governors simply have agreed to push back on the Insurrection Act. The effect is the same: the governors end up playing a role in a grander plan.
I call this "shared epistemology" in my book Unelected. Motivations differ, people rarely agree to the big evil supervillain framing, but incentives all converge in the same end goal.
No Kings might not agree to explicitly tear down the Constitution, but they nonetheless work with DSA and will turn out millions of people if the right phone call is put in.
Here is one articulation of the plan - and crucially, since then, they have put many NGOs in their places to execute their proper role at all levels when the time is right.
