As I did the research for the below article, the thing that struck me was how often the NGOs behind the plot stress “non-violence” as a key tenet of the what they do and the massive protests they organize.
At the same time, none of their plans will work without violence. To create their desired “crisis of legitimacy” that would cause America to decide Trump was no longer a lawful President and that Democrat governors were the new form of national governance, massive violence would be absolutely necessary. Such violence would come either in the form of another wave of our cities burning or a Kent State-like event x100 where police or the military created martyrs en masse.
They say “non-violence,” yet none of their plans work without violence.
I have decided this is a massive, fraudulent, plausible deniability kind of thing. It’s the wink-wink, nudge-nudge of Monty Python. They say non-violence, but they know they are creating violence anyway and they are OK with that.
It’s massively disingenuous. They know they are fomenting violence. However, they also know that most of what they do (organizing, teaching, etc.) is not illegal unless and until they conspire to engage in violence, so they pretend they are not.
Wink-wink, nudge-nudge.
Bravo to the Ninth Circuit 3 judge panel for reminding Gavin Newsom about the supremacy clause in our US Constitution!
The panel admonished Newsom and his legislators that the Supremacy Clause in Article VI makes the Constitution and the laws of the United States the supreme law of the land. Judges in every state are bound to uphold them. State legislators cannot pass laws that negate immigration law, prohibit enforcement of immigration law or prosecute federal officials enforcing the law.
California law is not above the Constitutional. No state laws anywhere trump federal immigration law enforcement. Newsom and other willfully defiant or naively misinformed leaders must brush up on where they fit in the hierarchy defined by the Constitution.

The idea that "I'm not voting because " is avant-garde this year is pathetic. The data shows that you don't vote during midterms or have probably never voted.
Roughly one out of every two "Republicans" weren't going to vote in the midterms but 100% of them will complain later on when the country turns to total chaos in 2027.
Oh...and if this goes Kinetic later on....count on that same number of Republicans to be suspiciously absent when it goes hot.

This is Trust & Safety 2.0.
The last time we had media-generated panics like this (with Russiagate and Covid), social media companies created “trust & safety” teams to censor conservative and dissident voices. Those hires worked with left-wing NGOs like the SPLC to police public discourse and do an end-run around the First Amendment. It almost worked, until Elon bought Twitter and exposed the whole game in the Twitter Files.
This time the plan is to embed unfireable EA minders inside every AI company as the new trust-and-safety layer. The censorship and control will be far more comprehensive, but also more subtle. Anytime they don’t get what they want, this unaccountable NGO layer (with the veneer of “trust the experts” pseudoscience) will shriek to the press that the AI company is risking humanity, and they will be celebrated as “whistleblowers.”
These groups haven’t earned our trust, and their agenda is not our safety.
