We spend far too much time arguing about individual exercises and not nearly enough time evaluating the results of an entire training program.
An exercise doesn’t exist in isolation. Neither does a training session. Everything needs to be considered within the context of what

Psychologists checked, and what your car cost has zero effect on how happy you feel driving it to work.
Jaylen Brown makes $57 million a year, and when someone asked about his favorite purchase, he named a gold harp. He has a harpist come over twice a week to play it while the sun goes down and his chef cooks dinner.
Funny enough, that's pretty close to what happiness researchers would set up if you handed them his bank account.
The car study comes from University of Michigan psychologist Norbert Schwarz. He asked a bunch of drivers how they felt on their last commute, then looked up what they drove. Blue Book value and how good people felt behind the wheel had a correlation of zero. The fancy car only felt better when the driver was actually paying attention to the car, which mostly happens when it's brand new or when it's falling apart.
You're happy about whatever you're paying attention to, and you stop paying attention to stuff that just sits there. Give it a year and a $300,000 car is a couch with wheels.
A harpist in your living room is really hard to tune out. There's a person in your house playing music with their hands, and no two nights sound exactly the same.
Then there's the schedule. Twice a week means five nights without it, and that turns out to matter a lot.
Researchers had people give up chocolate for a week while another group ate as much as they wanted. When everyone came back for one more piece, the people who'd gone without enjoyed it way more, and the people who binged actually liked it less than they had at the start. Another team tried it with massages. Put a 20-second break in the middle, and people liked the whole massage more and would pay more to get it again.
So every time the harpist shows up, Jaylen's had a few days off from it, and it hits fresh again. He also hooked it to sunset and dinner, which happen every night anyway, so it slots right into the evening.
The harp itself barely dents him. Lyon & Healy's gold concert harps run about $70,000 to $260,000 new. He makes about $696,000 per regular-season game, so even their top model costs him around 37% of one game check.
You can steal the cheap version of this. Take the thing you love most, cut it back to a couple times a week, and watch how much more you look forward to it.
Jaylen Brown says he bought a gold harp, and now has someone come over twice a week to play it as the sun goes down while his chef cooks dinner
“My favorite purchase, I think my best, my most favorite purchase was, I bought a harp. I bought like a gold harp. I got it upstairs too…”
“I got a harpist that come play like twice a week. While the sun is going down, chef is in the kitchen. You know what I mean? Just…”

50 Cent reveals that neither Drake nor Young Thug paid the millions they were rumored to have paid for Lil Durk’s legal defense. He also explains that when Young Thug said he did something for Lil Durk, he meant that he has a relationship with Durk’s lawyer, Brian Steel👀
“I don’t believe that, i think what he meant by saying he did something for him was he has a relationship with Brian Steel, when he developed a close relationship with Brian Steel you trusted him, his life in his hands”
“In the legal world it’s certain lawyers did a look at that like it’s not a fucking win cause it wasn’t a win”

“full time content creator” when broken down is simply “full time marketing”
is it a prerequisite for being a musician? no
is full time marketing yourself a prerequisite to getting your music seen/heard? yea lol big deal
marketing has always been a prerequisite for that. you can just do it from your iPhone now in your bedroom (easier)
