These 32 #BloodBikes commemorate the 32 people killed on Bloor, Yonge & University in 20-years before bike lanes were built.
After bike lanes were installed only one tragic loss of life has occurred in 6-years since 2020.
Bike lanes keep EVERYONE save, not only people cycling.

Ahem.
For those who may be unaware, Montreal is a cold *winter* city. Colder and snowier than Toronto.
And it now ranks 2nd among the worldβs best cycling cities.
So don't even.

This is Australia without migrant workers.
Same thing happens here, empty care homes, closed kitchens, 4 hour deliveries and families stuck doing the jobs Brits wonβt.
Watch before you cheer slamming the gates shut.

Itβs crazy how a movie/series can feel complete the first time you watch it. Every scene, every motive, every ending locked into one interpretation.
But when you watch the same movie/series years later, it rearranges itself. The characters mean something else. The ending lands differently. What once felt obvious now feels incomplete.
The Death Of The Author was never just about books. It applies to films too. Once the work is out in the world, the directorβs intention recedes, and the meaning now depends on the viewer: how they interpret it, and how much knowledge and life experience they bring to it.

Everyone remembers the legendary Wembley performance, but the real magic was captured here. During this rehearsal, George Michael already knew his partner was living with HIV, yet he sang with every ounce of emotion in his heart. Look closely at David Bowie in the backgroundβhe knew he was witnessing something truly unforgettable. This is what a real star looks like. β¨

I'm Canadian. I'm so fucking disgusted with Trump, on all fronts. Who knew that an American president could betray Ukraine, betray the world, insult and denigrate American allies, and Americans would just stand by and let him do it, while he's robbing Americans blind.
Why aren't you in the fucking streets?

I'm Canadian. Apparently, my life is terrible.
Universal healthcare. Public education. Clean water. Social safety nets.
And I can walk my dogs without carrying a concealed weapon.
Is Canada perfect? No. But I'll take it over the alternative.
Proudly Canadian. π¨π¦β€οΈ

Sylvia Jones, why isnβt Ontario rolling out updated COVID vaccines in late August or early September, before children return to school? Why make the general public wait until October 26?
My husband and I normally gets vaccinated. Now heβs very sick with COVID again. We were on a vaccine waiting list and now weβre sick.
Earlier access to COVID vaccines helps protect families from serious illness. Ontarians deserve better. Doug Ford has failed Ontario.

Never again, Driscollβs.
After reading the allegations about pesticide residues in berries shipped to Canada, Iβm voting with my wallet.
Today: BC-grown strawberries and blueberries from Peru.

Building a #Ward1 that works for the working class has been a passion of mine since I can remember. We can imagine, collaborate and build together when resources are abundant. Vote for me so I can fight for the resources we deserve to build the Ward 1, so many of us dream about.
