105 years ago today, the largest man made explosion to date devastated Halifax, NS. A train carrying medical aid and supplies rushed north from Boston, creating a bond with the city that exists to this very day. @hfxgov @TreeforBoston @hfxfire @HfxRegPolice @HFXFireHistory

The @TreeforBoston is a token of friendship between Boston and Nova Scotia, and this traditional gathering (able to be held in person once again!) is a sign of the season with our community coming together to celebrate the holidays in America’s first public park. #LightsOnBos
