1️⃣ The Persecution of Georgian Fighters: A Joint Operation by Ivanishvili’s Government and the Kremlin?
Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, hundreds of Georgian citizens volunteered to fight against Russian occupying forces in Ukraine.
3️⃣ Our analysis focused on Gia Baramidze, Aleko Elisashvili, Irakli Okruashvili, Davit Katsarava, Mamuka Mamulashvili, and other Georgian volunteers fighting in Ukraine.
4️⃣ Such coincidence does not itself establish coordination. However, when public discrediting is followed by prosecution, imprisonment or other severe measures, there are reasonable grounds to suspect an attempt to curry favour with Russian authorities.

⭕️ On August 14, 2026, Iberoil LLC purchased two state-owned plots in Tbilisi for GEL 493,000. Just three days later, three of its four owners and the company director donated a combined GEL 160,000 to Georgian Dream. 🔽
