After #Columbine, @Allen_ISD closed schools for remainder of year & drew global media scrutiny addressed proactively every day by Public Information team. Today, most significant event in @CityofAllenTX in 20 years is met with, as @JohnKingCNN said, "curious silence." Why?

Great question. @brownsvilletx police held press briefing within 24 hours & addressed all basic questions: suspect, victims, injuries, etc. Why won't @Allen_Police do the same?

Agree. Instead of taking lead of tiny and poor #Dadeville, @Allen_Police are modeling #UvaldeMassacre response. #BrownsvillePD already told community more than @TxDPS and @CityofAllenTX combined. A disservice to #Colin County, #TX and #USA. Is there really #NoPlaceLikeAllen?
