👏 Good news! New independent figures published by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) show ScotRail performing strongly compared with other train operators across Britain.
🚆 After a jammed packed few months with events on across the country, ScotRail recorded 23.5 million journeys between April and June 2026. Eight per cent more than during the same period last year, that was the highest year-on-year percentage growth of any large train operating company.

🚆 Engineering works continue across Fife until 27 October, as part of @scotgov's plan to decarbonise the railway - enabling cleaner, greener electric trains to operate. Where possible, trains will run on alternative routes, and replacement buses will serve affected stations. 📷 Here’s our Service Delivery Director, Mark Ilderton, with more information.
We’ve also put together a dedicated webpage to help you plan your journey during the engineering works: 👇
