Illness is dropping nationally. This is exactly what you'd expect with widespread social distancing. It's not only helpful for COVID-19, it also reduces transmission of other contagious illnesses (flu etc). #StayHome #COVID19 @kinsa

A4: The most engaging activity I ever organized in my career 4 my students was starting the filming of our morning announcements. Students are anchors, present the weather, etc. They are creators of the content not the consumers. @TouchCastEdu @padcaster #99mathchat @99mathgame

This looks amazing! Future reporters at work, project based learning is a great way to engage kids #99mathchat

Kudos! I wonder how @Flipgrid could be used so students in their classroom are interacting and listening attentively to the morning announcers? Could each class send in a mini video of a question that is answered before the close of the announcements?

I have students as young 1st grade who work on production. They work hard and will do retakes until they get it "right" and are proud of their work. Having a real audience makes a difference too. (Just like you are doing with 99mathGame day-having an audience cheer them on!)

The kids will remember these classes for a very long time, I'm pretty sure even long after graduation #99mathchat
