White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles almost skipped the mammogram that saved her life.
Wiles, 69, had gone in for a routine checkup and told her doctor she'd come back for her mammogram in a few months, but her doctor insisted she do it that day. That scan detected an aggressive form of breast cancer at an early stage — one that had zero symptoms.
After six months of treatment, Wiles announced on Sept. 16 that her pathology results from Mayo Clinic came back clear.
"I will always be grateful to my doctor for knowing me well enough to insist," she told Fox News Digital.
