The mask is falling
CBC’s At Issue buried the real budget criticism in the YouTube bonus In the online-only extra, Andrew Coyne finally said it plainly: “Moving in the wrong direction is they are going to increase and indeed entrench subsidies to the news media to our business. I thought this was a bad idea when they first introduced it… it was going to be this temporary emergency stopgap… Well, once we got our hooks into the public taxpayer, you’ll never get us off it. So in fact, they’re increasing the amount of and they’re going to make it pretty much permanent. And they’ve expanded it beyond just the newspaper business now into audio visual. This is not good for the future of the news business in this country.” The response? An immediate pivot from Rosie to “Your letter stamps are going up to $2… Canada Post isn’t doing well. 7% escalator after. Oh, dear.” A panelist on the public broadcaster admits the temporary media bailout is now permanent and expanding, and the room answers with postage rates. That is the entire engagement with the most obvious conflict of interest in the budget @acoyne @RosieBarton @althiaraj

They are celebrating destroying the country and replacing Canadian workers with cheap foreign labour. They are beyond evil.
I am out downtown tonight. Oh my, you should see the Liberals, Lobbyists, & Media out celebrating together. $765B in new debt sure buys a lot of drinks.

These assholes have been telling Canadians they are going to make life more affordable for the last 11 years.
We are making life more affordable for Canadians and helping them build a better life. Budget 2026 delivers over $22 billion over five years in new measures to ease day-to-day pressures on Canadians.

Citizens need to be armed, full stop.
Five to Six Masked Men Armed With Handguns Wanted in Violent Carjacking in Clarington A 58-year-old man was assaulted and robbed during an armed carjacking involving five to six masked suspects in Clarington. Durham Regional Police say the incident occurred Thursday, October 29, 2026, at approximately 3 p.m. in the area of Clarington Concession Road 4 and Elliott Road. The victim was driving in the area when an older-model black Dodge SUV pulled in front of his vehicle, forcing him to stop. Five to six masked men then exited the SUV and approached the victim's vehicle. One suspect reached through an open window, unlocked the door and forcibly pulled the victim out. The victim was assaulted before the suspects searched his pockets and stole his wallet and cellphone. Investigators say several of the suspects were armed with handguns. The suspects then stole the victim's 2026 Nissan Rogue and fled the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. Police describe the suspects as five to six males wearing face coverings. Two were dressed entirely in grey, while the remaining three to four were wearing all black. Investigators are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage, surveillance video or information about the incident to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Durham Regional Police East Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520, ext. 2765.

Meanwhile the Liberals want Canadians to believe the biggest threat to their safety are hunters and sport shooters.
A CBC investigation says about a dozen gun-for-hire shootings in Toronto were likely paid for by Iran. Synagogues. A Jewish school. Businesses. The U.S. Consulate. Shooters as young as 15, hired on encrypted apps and paid to film themselves firing into doorways. A U.S. indictment alleges a leader of an IRGC-controlled militia helped plan the shooting at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto. Ottawa listed the IRGC as a terrorist entity in 2024. How many of its operatives have actually been removed since? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Protect our streets, eh? 🇨🇦

I thought this wasn’t the Wild West @SeanFraserMP? Absolute insanity that your government props these criminals up, while going after law-abiding firearms owners. Why should anyone give up their guns when psychos like this are on our streets?

Lmao so much for Carney the savior
‼️BREAKING: EU to Hit Canada with Carbon Tariffs All is fair in love, war and trade! In a stunning blow, the EU is imposing carbon border charges on Canadian steel, iron, and aluminum starting 2027. -$2.8 billion in exports exposed — no exemption for Canada despite its own carbon price. -Internal docs call it “effectively a carbon tariff.” Quebec and Newfoundland hardest hit as Ottawa pushes EU trade diversification. -Canadian producers face new compliance costs and higher prices on metals already slammed by U.S. tariffs. -The EU is weaponizing climate policy into a direct trade hit on Canada. The EU is applying its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to Canadian steel, iron and aluminum to stop “carbon leakage”. Our new best friends dont even want our stuff! How brutal is this?

Now do tickets for drivers that stop in the middle of the intersection blocking traffic because they thought they could make the light. Or drivers that stop across the crosswalk.
The ticket for starting the walk across a downtown Toronto intersection, between 4-6pm, when the red hand is flashing & the clock is at “2”, should be $46,932 for a FIRST offence.

The left in Canada wants people to believe that hunting rifles aren’t banned, meanwhile this hunting rifle is banned and for no logical reason at all.
Crisp air and classic rifles.

Carney’s “prudent banker” brand is dead. The PBO just showed the books are being cooked Debt-service costs are now the fastest-growing federal expense: $25B five years ago → $59B this year (already larger than the Canada Health Transfer) → $83B in five years. Pure interest, paid before anything else PBO Annette Ryan: the government’s fiscal “anchors” are “more like traffic lights.” Capital spending gets a green light; operating spending is a yellow at best. “Limited fiscal discipline. It’s not stopping spending.” Real cash borrowing over five years: $733B. New debt from deficits: only $333B. The ~$400B gap is being parked with Crown corporations, loans and special funds—“a step removed from parliamentary oversight.” New risks, she said, and less transparency The former Bank of Canada/Bank of England governor who once policed balance sheets is now redefining accounting so the headline targets stay pretty while the actual liability grows off-books. Taxpayers get stuck with the interest bill @PBO_DPB

Canada is being used as a pawn for Carney’s Brookfield deals. We are so fucked.
They say follow the MONEY 💰 Well Carney-linked Brookfield & Westinghouse have done some pretty BIG investments into EU Countries 👀 at the same time CARNEY is trying for Canada to become as associate member of the EU It’s also VERY possible that Carney spent his summer vacation in Tuscany Italy at the residence of Brookfield CEO Bruce Flatt

For Carney to respect democracy, he and the Liberals would have to do something the Liberals haven’t done in their over a decade in power, treat people who didn’t or likely didn’t vote for them, as Canadians rather than vermin.
Alberta overwhelmingly votes to remain as apart of Canada. But also, they voted Yes to Eight of the Nine. I hope the PM @MarkJCarney can respect democracy even when it maybe unfavorable to him.

For those who seem to be unaware, the public is not privy to the goings-on of the military. Meaning when there are accidents during training, the public is not on a need-to-know basis. There are also procedures to follow, not all families have been notified. The public does NOT deserve information before impacted families.
