A few years ago I had several firefighters reach out to me all around the same time, about creating a Saint Florian image. I don't have a lot of spare time and so that sort of thing is subject to time and inspiration generally, but I logged it, and kept it in the back of my mind. Not too long after, I actually had the inspiration to do so, and it ended up being one of my favorite Saint illustrations. After I did, I also had some Catholic firefighters asking for a tee to be made with this image. Well it took me a couple of years, but I decided a few months to do a limited run of that design since so many had a dedication to this patron. I finally got them printed and in hand today. What I didn't expect, was to get them the day before September 11th. That just occurred to me.
