The $80.7 billion headline loss is almost entirely accounting on its convertible notes, which turn into stock at the IPO.
This always comes down to
(a) not good at their job
(b) don't like their job
I want to do more = can I do something else instead boss?
I talk with a lot of my friends with j*bs
And a recurring problem I see, is they tell their employer I want to do more.
In reality if they wanted to do more they can just work harder/faster, typically they mean they want to do different things alongside their current job.
This is a nightmare for employers. They have an employee who wants to split their attention and hurt their output.
So if you want more responsibility and want to do “more” than wtv ur current scope of work is, do it at such a high volume that it forces your company to hire people under you to scale your performance.
Do more volume, make urself undeniable
The perfect storm is an AI with a perfect voice and access to all your data watching the Diddy documentary trying to order 1000 bottles of lube, getting blocked and calling your credit card company's fraud department as you to make sure it goes through next time.
You can't make this up
Asked a $300 a night hotel in Nevada where are your "eggs" = scrambled water chemical things
"we only get those in on Friday"
The scrambled eggs at a hotel breakfast are 19% water, and they're dyed.
A lot of hotels and cafeterias pour them from a carton of Papetti's Breakfast Blend. The spec sheet reads whole eggs, 19% water, then under 2% of salt, xanthan gum, citric acid, annatto color and natural butter flavor. Papetti's is part of Michael Foods, one of the biggest egg processors in the country.
Every ingredient has a job on a steam table. Xanthan gum holds the added water in the egg so it doesn't weep into the pan. Citric acid keeps the eggs from turning gray or green under a heat lamp. Annatto puts back the yolk color the water washed out. The butter flavor is there because nobody is going to add butter. The carton keeps for 98 days in the cooler.
The plain version from the same company is whole eggs, whey, skim milk, xanthan and citric acid, with almost no added water and half the sodium.
My wife tried to feed the daughter and it wasn't happening

Meta ad costs are higher than any October I can remember
Why?
Millions being spent getting attention on mid-terms
$100 paid ads test is a joke
Most of those people also dont know what a good landing page is and what a good ad is
Meta will rob them blind
Organic growth is a scam.
So is "build in public", "post every day", "grow your personal brand" and every course selling it to you.
It's for people too scared to spend $100 on paid ads and find out nobody wants their product.
You're burning a year of your life to avoid one ugly week of real numbers.
$100 of Meta ads beats a year of content BY FAR.
Our brand new company went from $0 to $180K in 60 days, almost all from paid ads, and was profitable from day one.
You can do this with a 100 apps
Might work on one
I got to $2.5k/m in ~30 days with Apple ads.
• You get $100 from apple for free.
• It's still the easiest marketing meta.
This is what I'd do today:
1. Use [strict] keywords only.
2. Keywords = competitor's name.
3. Split campaigns by territory group.
4. Adjust CPT for each (i.e US is more).
5. Use the recommended CPT from apple.
6. Make sure you have a cracked app store page.
7. Hire someone to do your screenshots or use AI.
8. Use the new store assets!! Search banners etc.
9. Budget about $25/day at first, increase ongoing.
10. Wait to see how the ads spend over 2 days.
11. No spend = competition spending more.
12. Increase the CPT until you find a good balance.
13. Export data, give to Claude to find winners.
14. Scale those further.
Note:
Apple ads is like ASO, it won't work if your niche is insanely saturated. The ideal situation: one big app doing organic, where people search for the name (and keyword) and then get shown our hyper targeted ad.
Another point: some industries won't work for indie devs. For example, finance. Big companies will buy their own keywords at $25 per tap just to spite the competition. Positioning matters way more with Apple ads.
