Destabilising just about everything in the Farming, environmental and privately financed green economy all in a few weeks. Very concerning is putting it mildly. Unsure where to turn next, long term plans for us @ScaldEndFarm and those I’m assisting with plans shot to bits….
Govt now plans to compulsorily purchase farmland to create nature offsets for developers - totally undermining the nature markets they had previously touted as a vital new income stream for farmers in absence of public £.
Absolutely wild. Scorched earth.

We have been allocated £550,000 of Rural England Prosperity Funding to provide local grants of up to £20k for capital improvements.
