The Greatest
I believe in reincarnation, and I have a feeling where genius may have found its way back.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no cryptoartists.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no floor prices.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no brokers.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no lists.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no influencers.
When there was Crypto Art, there were no advisory boards.
When there was just Crypto Art, we were having more fun.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the relationship between sound and the body, between words and motion, between speech and thought.
Birth is announced by a wail that heralds hunger but also affirms: I am here.
Those who’ve witnessed the gradual death of a loved one have seen the turning in, the stilling, the quieting.
In transforming my poems into choreographic scores, I answered a need to incorporate my physical self into my digital works, representing the visceral reactions that my performances elicit.
I sought to bring the immediacy and intimacy of performance into the virtual realm. I also wanted to draw out how and where language lives in my body.
The acquisition of Waiting Room, my first choreographic work, by @tokenangels was a significant moment for me.
We had several calls before and after the transaction during which he invited me to consider how to materially represent the video piece and offered financial support for these endeavors.
It took me nine months to arrive at the right representation of my choreographic film, feeling very deeply that this new dimension would accompany and evolve with my practice for the rest of my life.
Thank you, @tokenangels, for encouraging me down this path – this is what patronage looks like.
More to come.

NFTs importance is 50% blockchain and 50% social made
Without the social aspect you would feel a much more realistic panoramic of artworks that are really important and deserve attention
Without the blockchain aspect 100% of your feed would be artificially pumped assets masked as art
Believe what you see, not what you read

Good Art talks for itself
Doesn't need anyone
Doesn't need curators, marketing agencies and noisy groupies
Just needs one collector that relates to it and values this intimate relation jealously in silence
Recently witnessing more and more examples of the Peter Principle in the Art space.
In the end Art is a reflection of society, politics and economics.
So if you feel an outsider, if you live a kind of solitary experience, if you don't flirt with the power, if you don't like to play dirty, then probably you are living something unique, special, real...
This space has been coopted by influencers, traders, fake curators that brought the attention to floor prices instead of messages
Artists became financial assets minters, curators became financial advisors, museums became stock exchanges, influencers became art floor sweepers...
And you know whose fault is it?
YOURS
Stop endorsing these people and start respecting and supporting who really makes, collect, love, live ART
Every time you interact with one of these shady characters you are backstabbing ART
Please dont like this tweet if you interacted with these people in the past because you are part of the problem and you cant keep a foot in both camps.
Time to make a decision, time to change the rules

I felt in love with Charles Csuri works because to me he is a visual poet, I love to look at his artworks and imagine a story around them.
Has the Hummingbird been shot? Did it eat too much and exploded? Or is it at the end of its life and merging with the universe?
In Hummingbird II (1967) Csuri directly relates to frames of the Hummingbird film, in the transformation and fragmentation of the animal.
In this image, Csuri plays with the relationship between form and abstraction. It is one of the few pioneering works by Csuri rendered as a silkscreen on Plexiglas, marking a distinctive approach in his oeuvre.
This work was showcased at the SIGGRAPH 2006: Charles A. Csuri: Beyond Boundaries (1963-present) exhibition.
Thank you to the patron of the arts @TokenAngels for recognizing the importance of this work in the history of digital art and for adding it to your collection.
