Does anyone have any experience with changing the category of videos they upload on their YouTube channel? I wanna upload car content but I’m worried youtube won’t push my content to people interested in cars because it assumes im posting gaming content.

Anyone that’s drastically changed the style of videos they make on YouTube, did you get punished for not making a new channel? Did your cpm change? Do you regret not making a new channel?

I’m also worried I’ll keep my bad cpm even though my content would be more advertiser friendly. It just feels like a waste to not use my main channel for anything anymore, but I’m only interested in posting car content
