South Asian Correspondent Rachel Clayton raises serious questions over Press Freedom in India against PM Modi & his Govt for suppressing the Voice of Independent Journalists like @ShoaibDaniyal @ShyamMeeraSingh
@MnshaP @SreenivasanJain & Detaining them for merely doing their Job covering Protest Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
When questioning the government becomes an act of defiance, journalists are treated as suspects, protesters are branded anti-national, and sections of the media become more interested in protecting those in power than holding them accountable, democracy has a serious problem.
India's press freedom crisis is not merely about journalists being silenced; it is about citizens being denied the right to question, challenge and demand answers.
A democracy cannot survive on manufactured narratives, compliant newsrooms and inconvenient truths being swept under the carpet.
When the press (GodiMedia) stops questioning power, propaganda starts answering on its behalf.

So HM Shah says there are 3 crore ‘infiltrators’ identified through SIR. RTI filed by us to Home ministry and EC hasn’t provided any such data of detection and deportation. So are the numbers a ‘jumla’? @IGuruPrakash of BJP responds
"Who are these three crore people who are absent or untraceable?" BJP spokesperson @IGuruPrakash defends Amit Shah's claims on alleged infiltrators, citing the SIR figures while promising that the Home Ministry will provide exact data at the appropriate time.

INTERESTING: What electoral impact the ‘vote chori’ campaign will have remains uncertain. But it certainly seems to have given a new lease of life to the Congress’s frontal organisations, particularly the Seva Dal. Haven’t seen Seva Dal workers, led by @srinivasiyc, playing such a visible role in mobilising and organising party workers in a long time. Could provide a much-needed boost to an organisation that has suffered from inertia and passive leadership in recent years.

Will China Take Over Arunachal Pradesh?
Another SHOCKING video from Arunachal is Viral. WATCH👇🏽
An intense commentary addressing border security warnings and regional discontent has ignited widespread national debate.
Following recent ITBP border observations highlighting China’s overwhelming infrastructure and military advantage along the Line of Actual Control, a viral reel from an Arunachal Pradesh youth claimed that he and the region would soon belong to China.
Speaker Neetu Mam highlighted this conflict, pointing out the stark contradiction in domestic behavior: citizens display loud aggression toward local rickshaw pullers and weaker neighbors like Pakistan, while remaining silent on real border challenges.
The commentary notes that while India and China stood on equal economic footing in the 1990s, China’s pragmatic focus on quiet work and defense manufacturing propelled it decades ahead. Should national focus shift from loud political rhetoric to core economic and border infrastructure development?

CPI General Secretary D. Raja participated in today’s historic ‘Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao’ Maharally of the INDIA Bloc from the very beginning. When the procession reached near the stage at Ramleela Maidan, he experienced some minor health issues and consequently, he could not address the rally.
More than 10,000 activists from the CPI and mass organisation from across the country participated in today’s rally. We thank them and all other participants for making the rally a grand success.
The CPI and INDIA Bloc remain committed to securing a fair and transparent electoral system. Today’s massive mobilisation reflects the people’s anger against the unholy alliance of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar. The movement will continue and strengthen until Gyanesh Kumar’s ouster.
