✨ SQUASHING THE COMPETITION | @HighlandPROUD took the Kentucky State Fair by storm last week. Consumer Science Pathway students competed in the Squash Challenge, serving up Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter Sauce and Stuffed Squash Blossoms. The dish was built from scratch! Students grew the squash and garlic themselves, and hand-crafted the goat cheese and fresh pasta. The school also had winning entries in multiple competition categories! #WeAreJCPS

the first official AI movie is here and.. its wild China’s top director Jia Zhangke was so impressed by Seedance 2.0 that he made a film himself.. in just 3 days when asked if AI will replace filmmakers, he said cinema has always moved with tech. Digital cameras didn’t kill film. AI will just make it faster, simpler and better meanwhile Hollywood is busy hunting down AI creators and filing lawsuits check out this masterpiece

Rubber Band Powered #Lego Cars. What a fun way to end the term. 6th grade @ExploreHMS Engineering Students had 50 minutes to plan, build, and test their car made of legos and powered by a rubber band. Then race!

Curious how hands-on coding builds creativity: one student programmed a #Sphero to paint a star; a peer was inspired, spent hours refining their code, and today painted a fish. This is a great example of iterative learning, peer motivation, and applied STEM in action. #spherobolt
