Please read James Rosen’s essay on the gross prosecutorial misconduct in the Watergate cases.
It needs its own Hollywood movie to show how corrupt the special prosecutors and Judge Scirica were.
And, as Rosen notes, the massive effort to take down Nixon and his advisors is one of the earliest modern incarnations of Lawfare.

If you were wondering how to think about these ridiculous “AI is conscious” nonsense claims, here’s how this predictive algorithm works.
More info here: online.hbs.edu/blog/post/wha…
I can't believe we are having this debate. AI models are not alive, conscious, sentient, or any other word that describes having autonomy.
I think the biggest reason why so many people are deceived into believing this is because they don't understand how AI models work.
They are nothing but statistical calculators.
When you type in a prompt that prompt is broken down into tokens, which are numerical values of partial words. That string of tokens is then compared to parameters within the transformer cloud. Then a statistical algorithm is performed to determine what the most likely response would be. The token response is then converted back into words.
At no point in time did the AI model even understand your question. It just performed a statistical math problem.
The illusion of consciousness, or life or whatever else you want to call it, comes entirely from the user's projection.
AI models are trained on human content. When humans write stuff they express their own autonomy within their writing. So when an AI model uses a statistical algorithm to determine the most likely response, that response mimics what it's been trained on. Not because the machine is intelligent but because it has been trained to copy what intelligent people write.
An AI model is no more conscious than an NPC walking down the street in GTA. They just mimic people. But ultimately they're nothing more than a computer program doing exactly what they were programmed to do. They are not alive now and they will never be alive.

Rochester’s hospital system recruits foreigners through an organization backed by the Talent Mobility Fund—financed by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and led by former Biden immigration officials.
Could that network also be involved in residency placement?
Here’s the connection:
The fund finances inSpring. InSpring and Rochester’s Chamber of Commerce launched Greater ROC Global. Rochester Regional Health joined that program to recruit international nurses.
The money comes from tech-connected donors:
• Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
• Open Philanthropy, whose major backers include Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz and his wife, Cari Tuna.
• The family foundation of GitLab co-founder Sid Sijbrandij.
The Biden ties are just as direct:
• Fund director Doug Rand was a senior adviser to the head of Biden’s immigration agency, USCIS.
• Founder Amy Nice helped lead STEM immigration policy in Biden’s White House.
• Adviser Amanda Baran ran USCIS’s policy office under Biden.
Their strategy paper describes “a future of much more migration without political backlash.”
Their approach: help employers expand immigration through existing visa pathways, without waiting for new legislation.
And the fund ALSO backs an inSpring program helping hospitals hire foreign-trained PHYSICIANS and navigate immigration and licensing requirements.

Oversight Project Announces Investment to Launch New Law Firm to End Lawfare
Jeff Clark: “We at the Oversight Project are launching a new law firm. We’ve received an overwhelming response and have been flooded with résumés and requests for assistance. Our goal is to provide pro bono or low-cost representation to people who are targeted. We don’t want to pursue only defensive efforts; we also want to undertake significant offensive action.” @JeffClarkUS

🚨 HEY, @RepJasmineCrockett — WHERE’S THE FOLLOW-UP?
You called for justice after Tasia Fortune was found hanging from a tree in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised serious questions about a possible lynching.
Now a suspect has reportedly been arrested.
So the question is simple: Where is the same urgency now?
If you believed this case deserved national attention before the arrest, shouldn’t the public deserve to hear from you now that there has been an arrest?
Justice shouldn’t depend on a political narrative. Follow the facts. Seek the truth. Let justice be done.

Al Sharpton just hit Houston hoovering Black votes for Talarico.
The Democrat machine is flooding the city, hitting the big Black churches, trying to drag every possible voter to the polls.
They’re desperate. The turnout operation is on full blast because they know this race is slipping.
Talarico still won’t win. Too many Black Texans see the game. God woke His people up. That’s enough.

Charlie was not hateful, and Charlie did not speak hatefully of some groups of people.
Charlie loved people enough to tell them the truth, regardless of race, gender, or background, and he did so with warmth and kindness. Charlie respected the people he disagreed with enough to hear them out and engage with them, even when they were profoundly wrong. Charlie wasn’t afraid to match the energy of a troll and put a bad faith debater in their place, but when the crowd wanted him to dunk on someone who was sincere, he urged calm and responded with gentleness and decency.
Charlie gave more time, patience, and love to people who hated him and disagreed with him than most will ever give to their greatest allies.

Just after becoming Attorney General in 1940, Robert Jackson (later a Supreme Court Justice) warned prosecutors to resist the temptation of targeting people they don't like (like political opponents) and then scouring the law books to try to find some crime to charge them with. justice.gov/sites/default/fi…. Intelligent black people don't support the Fakestinians. Because the blacks in that colonised land were taken there as slaves and the area where they live is still called "the slaves". BLM are asked to comment.

“Please don’t get in my comment section and try to shame me into supporting Palestine because I’m Black and I should be supporting brown people. No, I’m not going to do that, because you’re ignorant and skin-color obsessed.
You don’t even understand the fact that, in Palestine, there are neighborhoods called Al-Abid, translated as ‘the slaves,’ where Afro-Palestinians live. These are marginalized Black neighborhoods that are called Al-Abid, ‘the slave,’ and many Palestinians still refer to Black people as abid, meaning ‘slave’ in Arabic.
Why? For those of you who are unfamiliar and unaware, number one: the Arab Muslim slave trade is the longest-spanning slave trade in history. It’s even longer than the transatlantic slave trade.
Number two: many of the Afro-Palestinians who currently reside in Palestine were taken there during the Ottoman Empire, a large Islamic empire that was known for the forced servitude and enslavement of many cultures and groups of people.
So, many of the Afro-Palestinians in Palestine were taken there through forced servitude and enslavement, and they still reside there in neighborhoods where they are referred to as slaves.
Again, as a Black person, if you’re going to try to appeal to my race, which, by the way, I don’t make decisions based on race and skin color; I make decisions based on truth, then come up with something better, because it isn’t cutting it.”

🚨 BREAKING: FBI Director Kash Patel just announced that NGO Southern Poverty Law Center's Director of Intelligence Heidi Beirich has been ARRESTED and CHARGED with the following crimes
- Wire fraud conspiracy
- Conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank
- Conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering
I voted for this law and order, @FBIDirectorKash! 🔥
"Beirich played a primary role in this scheme. From at least 2007-2023, Beirich allegedly helped orchestrate this fraudulent activity worth approximately $4.2 million, conspiring with SPLC to defraud donors, obtaining money through these materially false and fraudulent pretenses and omissions to pay leadership of the very violent organizations SPLC claimed to oppose."
The massive fraud is all crashing down!

Kash Patel has disbanded the Foreign Influence Task Force!
Remember it was largely run by FBI manager Nikki Floris, who was caught by Trump in emails bragging to others she was running a Shadow Government to keep Trump in the dark about Chinese 2020 election hacking.
In other words the Foreign Influence Task Force was covering up, not exposing foreign influence.
Complete inversion.
BREAKING: @FBIDirectorKash Confirms Internal Review of Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) + Alleged Bias Favoring Bidens
"..we are investigating whether the FITF (Foreign Influence Task Force) used information...to undermine or influence ongoing investigations by only focusing on the subset of CHS (Confidential Human Sources) involving the Bidens."
- "We remain concerned that defensive briefings to Congress may have been overly focused on just Biden and Ukraine rather than the balanced picture of all foreign threats."
- "Although these alleged activities occurred during a different era within the Bureau, my team is firmly committed to identifying, investigating, and holding accountable all abuses."
- Patel writes he "immediately" disbanded this task when he became FBI Director.
NOTE: Defensive briefings are done by the FBI to warn individuals or institutions that they may be the target of foreign disinformation campaigns
@SenRonJohnson recently confirmed to me that Nikki Floris (who wrote internal 'Shadow Government' message) was one of the FBI agents who gave him and @ChuckGrassley a “defensive briefing” in August 2020 about an alleged Russian disinformation campaign targeting the Biden family.
Floris did not respond to earlier requests for comment.
