With a heavy heart we must announce that Seal Centre Pieterburen Foundation will likely have to file for bankruptcy within 2 weeks. 😭 This threatens to bring an end to our rescue of seals in need, just as the new pup season is about to begin.

This young manatee calf, just 73 lbs, came to SeaWorld Orlando on Thursday night after being rescued in a Miami Shores neighborhood canal.
Special thanks to the Miami Shores community, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and Zoo Miami for coming together to rescue this calf!
