These were ranked as the top thirteen invitational stems.
I sold my invention Telebell through Leslies' Swimming Pool Supplies in the early 90's so people could answer their front door from their cordless phone on their pool float.
My product had be reviewed by Popular Science magazine in July 1990 when I was 28 years old. I was able to parlay that exposure into some national accounts. Telebell was reviewed on the same page with products from both Bose and Pioneer.
I spent some time at Leslie's headquarters in Chatsworth, CA. It was as close as I could get to the California dream at that time in my life.
Telebell was pre-internet and about 30 years too early but I did land Leslie's and Hammacher Schlemmer as retailers before the Chinese got a hold of it and knocked it off for half the price.
