The meaning of “ humanitarian” in this day #StandWithUkraine
Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Since the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine, millions of people have suffered from its atrocities. Civilians have been killed in their homes, prisoners of war tortured and executed, and Ukrainian children taken from their families.
Russia has destroyed entire neighbourhoods and cities and attacked hospitals, schools, universities, cafés, shops, and kindergartens.
In recent months, Russia’s attacks against civilians have only intensified. Because Russia must face real consequences for its actions. It must receive a clear signal that its crimes will not go unpunished.
We call on our partners to step up pressure on Russia and strengthen support for Ukraine’s defence.

The discussion focused on preparations for the winter, further bilateral cooperation🤝, and Estonia’s unwavering support for Ukraine.
Putin’s forces killed a baby in her stroller on a playground. Her name was Angelina.
She was just over a year old when a Russian Shahed drone struck a park in Kharkiv region.
Her mother, Inna, later died in hospital. An 11-year-old girl was also killed. Six people died in total, while 14 others, including six children, were injured.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site.
In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

"Head-scratching... & disconcerting, to say the least." President Trump's decisions over Ukraine are alarming allies. Former Pentagon official @EvelynNFarkas says the diesel deal w/Russia is "giving Putin a gift... That is completely disconnected to trying to get a peace deal."
Putin has started his winter operation against our energy system – massively, right now, in October. People are left without electricity because Russian ballistic missiles and drones keep hitting our energy, and water supplies, and energy facilities.
I ask you to really focus on helping us get PAC-2 and PAC-3 interceptors. Ukraine can’t get by on just two or four missiles from a country every few months. Of course, we are thankful to all of you, but I think you have to understand. So please let what European countries already have be put to use to protect our lives.
We need a winter package – we always spoke about it between us – of missiles – 300 Patriot interceptors specifically against ballistic missiles. And this is really important. Not just for Ukraine, but strategically – for what happens next, after this winter, to Ukraine and to all of Europe.

A Russian Shahed drone hit civilian infrastructure in Lutsk, damaging a residential building and a store. Six people were killed and 13 injured.
This strike in broad daylight follows a massive overnight attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, with recovery efforts still underway across the country.
Russia's daily terror shows a deliberate effort to terrorise Ukrainians and prolong the war, ignoring calls from the US and the American President. We expect every G7 leader and all partners committed to peace to step up pressure on Russia, impose strong sanctions and provide assistance to protect Ukrainian people.
Without sufficient pressure, Russia will keep killing.

Last night’s massive ballistic attack on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure is another reminder of Putin’s intentions: to undermine Ukraine, exhaust its people and break their will to resist, not pursue peace.

Ukraine joins the @UN Human Rights Council for 2027-2029 while continuing to defend its sovereignty against Russia’s war of aggression. We thank all UN Member States that supported our country’s candidacy.
As Russia’s aggression and grave violations of human rights continue, Ukraine will prioritise accountability, protection of prisoners of war and unlawfully detained civilians, the return of deported and forcible transferred Ukrainian children, and support for international documentation and investigation mechanisms.
"Drawing on our own experience, we will work with partners to strengthen accountability, defend human dignity, reinforce the international human rights architecture, and address emerging challenges to human rights worldwide," Ukraine’s Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha has stated.
How are the Ukrainians faring in war circumstances, and what would compel Putin to stop.

Atrocity crimes have no expiration date @EE_Ukraine @MFAestonia
Russia attacked residential buildings and critical infrastructure across Ukraine with hundreds of missiles and drones, killing at least two people in Kyiv and four others across the country. Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kremenchuk and Pryluky were among the cities targeted by Russian attacks.
"On Putin’s birthday, Russian generals brought him his favorite present: war crimes," Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has commented.
Russia must face stronger sanctions targeting its military-industrial complex, including facilities producing ballistic missiles and the Rassvet satellite system. Ukraine needs stronger support, including more air defence systems and urgent energy assistance ahead of winter.

Once you start a war, it may eventually be felt at home.
Our long-range responses had a very significant impact in the Moscow region last night. One of Russia’s key oil industry facilities and the aggressor’s logistics facility were hit. These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine. The systems used included FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palianytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican.
I thank our warriors for their accuracy: the Security Service of Ukraine together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Foreign Intelligence Service. Sanctions were also imposed on a facility in the Voronezh region. Moscow must end its brutal war and choose peace instead of building layered rings of air defense at the expense of other regions. Steps toward de-escalation are on the table – in energy and food security. What is needed is political will. I thank everyone who is strengthening Ukraine’s long-range capabilities. I am grateful to everyone who complements our long-range responses with responses through sanctions. Glory to Ukraine!
