I get that it's a very stressful and unfortunate time, buy this is an incredibly unfair thing to ask.
NO ONE asks Bitcoin or Ethereum to reverse transactions, yet both have in the past rolled back the chain, Ethereum explicitly to reverse an exploit.
@THORChain and @Maya_Protocol are trying to be the only censorship resistant true DEXes, but they're fragile and under immense pressure. Thyre not guaranteed to make it.
Stop bullying and stressing the only people trying to make something cypherpunk in this space.
Our attacker addresses are publicly listed and actively tracked. We are formally asking @THORChain to refuse service to these addresses. Decentralization is a design principle, not a shield for facilitating known stolen funds.
The industry is watching.

It's true. I was there. Demand for using Bitcoin as money was exploding.
If we hadn't had artificial block size restrictions, Bitcoin would easily be above $1 million today, with hundreds of millions of users.

It is so sad. Bitcoin usage was growing exponentially up until 2014ish.
And then we collectively told the world we didn't want them using our precious "block space," by keeping the 1 MB limit.
We had more demand than we ever hoped for but rather than building out the infrastructure, we pretended that blockchains couldn't scale. Why?

BTC cannot support MASS self-custody:
If everyone in the world did only one BTC TX, the queue would be over 37 years long!
The math is undeniable:
(Block size (1.66MB)/Transaction size (P2PKH) (374B)) / Block time (10M) = TPS (7.75). 8B (Users) / 217M (Yearly TXs) = 37 years!

The issue isn't backdoors. Its not about what secret malicious code ended up in the codebase. Its about what Bitcoin could have been instead of the crippled eunuch it is today.
It might have had privacy. It might have been used for payments. Bitcoin could have done it all and we not have the market diluted by a million different coins.
We'll never know what was taken from us because we never had a chance to let Bitcoin be Bitcoin.
