Unbelievable response to my question at Full Council yesterday evening: £1,460,000 raised by LTNs in just 7 months
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
@ealingcouncil confirmed they have already raised £1.469m in fines from LTNs.
LTNs are now a CASH COW for the council that cannot be objective about the scheme anymore.
On the 6th of May, remember that @ealinglabour is putting MONEY before DEMOCRACY & EQUALITY!

Really looking forward to getting out & about next week to see all the sporty scarecrows around Ealing! Why not make your own scarecrow & be part of the stroll? 🎨

@EalingCouncil shamefully side steps High Court hearing by replacing the old ETOs with new ETOs that are clearly not needed.
LTNs are still unsafe, discriminatory and do not achieve their objectives.
We will continue to fight for democracy!
The anger is growing!

Today, the High Court has ruled that TfL’s Streetspace for London Plan, including the Bishopsgate changes, were 'unlawful'.
The judge found that the needs of disabled Londoners were “not considered", and described parts of the EQIA as “perfunctory or non-existent”

All that was needed was proper inclusive design & consideration. It shouldn't be appealed, it should point the way to consulting with disabled people & working with us to create a greener, safer, accessible city. @MayorofLondon needs to work with @transportforall @Wheels4Well etc
#SadiqKhan says he will appeal the court judgment that #StreetSpaceLDN was illegal. Will he be using #taxpayers money,or his own money. The judge also said #Taxis are part of public transport,so does that mean they will have to be put back in his transport strategy #Disability
