"the oldest, bloodiest imperialist party existing in the world"
All of US leftists' performative anti-capitalism and "criticism" of the democratic party is nothing but larp because they still clap like seals when the democratic gains power as if it's "their" victory & not that of the oldest, bloodiest imperialist party existing in the world.

This call is premature. Colom is probably favored but hold off until more votes come in.
Projection: Democrat Scott Colom is the Projected Winner in the Mississippi Senate election. He will defeat Incumbent Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith. Democratic Gain #Election2026 #ElectionDay #MSSen

We were spending on Georgia and Iowa; not knowing we would be within spitting distance of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. Within throwing distance of Alabama and ahead in South Carolina!

Honestly just part of the winner's heartbreak. we had no idea the wave would be this big. like we had no idea that Talarico would win by 12 points. How could we?! In retrospect, Florida obviously should've gotten some more cash, but Mississippi? She kinda came out of nowhere
it's very hard not to go "what if we had spent money in mississippi and florida"

Scott Colom has every reason to despise her. He was set to become a Federal District judge, and got bipartisan support, but she denied him the blue slip (Wicker approved).

It was a blue tsunami not because the economy was particularly bad, but because Trump was elected promising "I'll make everything cheaper" only to immediately switch to "I'm making everything more expensive but I promise it will be worth it eventually"
the economy wasn't even that bad man

Semafor: Annie Andrews knew she was winning in October — but kept the poll secret On Oct. 5, the Andrews campaign received a poll showing her with a 3-point lead over Graham. But the Democrat’s campaign decided against publicly releasing the poll — or any subsequent internal poll — showing Andrews with a lead over Graham, wary of drawing too much attention from national Republicans and jeopardizing a peak at the right time, according to Chas Goldman, a strategist for Andrews. semafor.com/article/11/04/20…
