Interesting to ponder: If charities in Australia are expected to uphold transparency, why isn't the @ACNCCommissioner following suit? What's the story behind the advisory board's compensation? We'd love some clarity! #TransparencyFirst #ACNC @WilkieMP @auspol @Anthony_Klan

Pushing overseas charities on an international jaunt, while there are people struggling to put food on the table in #australia charities under pressure because of failing #acnc Tone- deaf humble brag . It's time to prioritize minister - or step aside @AlboMP #AusPol @WilkieMP

It's a disgrace the way the #ACNC runs @ACNCommissioner - but look at the dirty pool in Canberra - time for a clean 🧼 up @AlboMP #Lehrmann smh.com.au/politics/federal/… who can australia trust ?

So @ALeighMP you said "Putting Gary Johns in charge of the charities commission is like putting Ned Kelly in charge of bank security" talking about the @ACNCommissioner explain to #australia how the culture he developed just miraculously changed ? Nothings changed #ACNC #auspol

Hey @ALeighMP @AlboMP why is the #ACNC @ACNCommissioner board still lacking diversity? 🤷♀️ It's time to walk the talk and address this issue head-on. And what's with their $$$ #transparency #PromoteDEI #VoiceToParliament #Auspol2023 #auspol @WilkieMP @PeterDutton_MP @sussanley

Such dignity. Such grace. Let's not waste this moment and the example set by Stan Grant on Q&A last night.

This is a wake up call to the @AlboMP @AustralianLabor government - the #ACNC spin and PR wearing thin - actions speak louder then words - how about a fill root and branch review @ALeighMP of #ACNC practices, processes and mission, it does not do - what it was established to do.
This just isn't what australia was promised by you and your party @ALeighMP - you said you would clean this out with a broom and here we have this sort of garbage - shut #acnc down and return it to ASIC and ATO who have proper processes in place @sussanley @PeterDutton_MP

Linear friction welding uses high-speed movement to forge metals
Linear friction welding is an alternative to traditional welding techniques. It uses high speed movement to generate heat which welds materials together, and has various benefits.

hey @ACNC_gov_au your tweet 'regularly review your charity’s activities and processes to ensure that it continues to be a not-for-profit' is confusing. The #ACNC mission includes both charities AND not-for-profit organizations - is this message to both or just charities 🤔🤨😕🙄
It’s good practice to regularly review your charity’s activities and processes to ensure that it continues to be a not-for-profit and working towards its charitable purpose. Check out our self-evaluation tool here: ow.ly/NB1i50NLfwx

Underwater #welding can be done at a depth of up to 30 m. At depths over 10 m, the diving time limits rising from higher water pressure make the work exceptionally challenging.

Surprise, I'm the brains behind StripMallGuy. AMA.
I get asked why I choose to remain anonymous on twitter. Haven't addressed it publicly before, so here's my thinking:
First, there is no question that tweeting under my real identity would open up a world of opportunities. I know I'm leaving a lot on the table.
That being said, this account started by accident.
I opened it just under two years ago, 20 years into my career.
There was no angle, no strategy - I just started tweeting one day and was very much caught off guard by the growth of the account.
I'm proud of what our team has built over the years, I love my career, and I don't know what things would look like if I was suddenly "public."
Many people use twitter to established themselves within their industries. They're building their personal brands in order to get their careers off the ground - which I think is amazing!
For me, putting my identity out there comes with real carer risk. There are sure to be unintended consequences that are impossible to calculate.
It might impact our ability to find deals, impact our relationships with your tenants, distract our team, or it might alter how our investors view us.
I don't know what is behind that curtain.
The other thing I think about a lot is privacy. I spend a fair amount of time walking around Manhattan with my wife and our three-year-old son.
The thought of sitting at an ice cream shop with my son and being approached by a stranger makes me feel uneasy.
Perhaps I'm more of an introvert than I realized, or maybe I'm overthinking all of this.
But I know that the decision to make the switch and put your face and name out there is one-way.
It's permanent. And once you flip that switch, there is no going back.
