This is happening RIGHT NOW! The sun is shining, lots of interesting things at the festival, and OH YEAH, @steakandhonour is here!
After a week on the cargo bike, we're hosting our first People City Planet festival alongside @uandiltd in Chesterton, Cambridge THIS WEEKEND.
Come along and help shape a new urban quarter in North East Cambridge.

Not our first time listening to @sustainableish do a talk, and it was as good as before! Yay for being sustainable-ish, perfect is the enemy of good!
We’re at the @CCFcambridge AGM, learning about how their year went and what their plans for the next year are, as well as talking to them about joining forces 💪🏽
We’re very excited about this! An excellent example of imaginative projects that add value to our communities

Meet Sadaf – one of LoT's 3 three ‘Mission Guardians’. She works as a service designer for Children’s Society, & has been a small business owner, a design technician in a school, & has started various reuse projects.
So what is a Mission Guardian & what do they do? 🧵
It’s not a moment, it’s a movement! 💜
We loved showing the brilliant humans behind @ThingsCambridge around some of our London borrowing spaces. Alice & Lucy were particularly inspired by the community sustainability hub led by @GreenercleanerB, feat. Bromley LoT 💪🌎🎉
Could something like this work in #Cambridge?

We are really excited to be a part of this! Come “borrow” us and we’ll tell you all about the Library of Things idea, and how to go about starting your own community project 💚💜
We are so excited to have over 650 supporters on our campaign page - follow the link in our bio to join them and be the fuel that the #borrowdontbuy revolution needs! #cambridge #libraryofthings #share #loveit #wastefreeliving #communityfirst
Excited to support our friends from Together Culture at their Reimagine @thegraftoncambs event today!
It’s true! We’re really looking forward to it!
Campaigners will talk to @CamLabEF on 17th Feb in a special on waste reduction, along with @ThingsCambridge so we can work out how to buy and wasted less.
How cool is this! Watch this short clip to get a great glimpse at what we could have in Cambridge - and then get in touch if you can help us secure a venue and / or get some funding. Let’s make 2022 the year Cambridge starts borrowing, not buying!
🧰 It was brilliant to join @BBCLondonNews to showcase our new Dalston @LibraryofThings.
This is part of our commitment to build a circular economy, reduce waste and tackle the climate crisis ✌🏾🌍
Happy New Year! Let’s make 2022 the year Cambridge gets its first Library of Things - you can help by retweeting and telling others about the project. Oh, and get in touch if you have ideas for a venue or want to help with fundraising!
Really looking forward to this! – at Cuautitlán Izcalli, México

#Cambridge folk, have you seen the campaign to set up a Library of Things (@ThingsCambridge)? A low cost way to borrow useful stuff rather than having to buy it - better for the environment and your understairs cupboard :) You can sign your support here: libraryofthings.co.uk/heatma…
