Replying to @Rothmus
Those who are opposed to corporations and favor government do not realize that government is simply the largest, most monopolistic corporation of all and it has a monopoly on violence.

When I was writing Unreal Engine 1, my time was divided as follows: - Around 30% went to seriously deep coding on hard problems: assembly language texture mappers, C++ BSP trees, data persistence, object oriented systems design, and networking. - Around 70% was just typing and refactoring large bodies of code needed for a complete engine feature set. This was not hard, and while I was doing it my mind was mostly on the deeper coding topics, thinking and planning for what's next. It didn't feel much different from vibe coding today, except that it was just me typing code on an IBM Model M keyboard rather than prompting it and reviewing the results. So, it has always seemed perfectly logical that we would rely on AI for that 70%, once the AI could do it with a similar quality standard as we could, which has never been perfection. It came as no surprise that, after a few years of AI model evolution, it was able to take the reigns on that 70% and free up programmers' time for more valuable tasks. What's more of a surprise is the emergence of AI as a sort of insta-Carmack able to solve hard technical problems quite cleverly and often cleanly, and that it's able to reason about and work in complex 3D scenes both by operating the tools and by directly understanding the raw data files. I abandoned assembly language in 1998 when out-of-order CPUs made much simpler C/C++ code faster, and never I missed it. If prompting through architectural documents, concept art, and design plans can transcend typing code and tweaking vertices, that will enable developers to spend their time on higher-level, higher value technical and creative tasks. What matters is the end product, whether it's a game or an engine. Anything developers can do to try out more ideas and make better software and games faster is a win for everyone.

Developer Update It’s been a little while since my last update, but development on Modulr has continued. A few things I’ve been working on recently: • Simplified the profile menu across parts of the platform • Opened Modulr.Gig listings to everyone, no account required to browse • Continued development of Bench, our repair and process documentation system • Added the early foundation for developer API access inside Modulr.Core A little more on each below 👇

Developer update on Modulr I wanted to share a quick update on what I’ve been working on. Recent progress includes: - Search other user's Hubs (in the core app), so users can find other people in their communities more easily - A peer-to-peer video feature, so people can talk one-on-one directly inside the platform - A tracker system for jobs requested in Gig, to make it easier to follow activity and progress These features are still in development, but work is continuing. As mentioned previously, development is moving at a much slower pace than before, but I’m still building and I’ll do my best to share updates regularly. Going forward, I’ll aim to post developer updates on a roughly weekly basis whenever I have meaningful progress to share. More to come.

Bitcoin slipped under $79K. Jobs data juiced September hike odds toward 60%. Yields up. Oil hot. Classic risk-off. Support matters here. Lose it and mid-$70Ks come into play.

We have a new TradingView indicator: Modulr Flow Flow tracks money flow across the market so you can see when volume and momentum are strengthening, weakening, or shifting before you make a trade. It’s another way to answer a simple question: Is there actually enough participation behind this move? Also updated today: Modulr Div • Fixed alert timing • Updated to Modulr yellow + purple If you try Flow, let us know what you think. Your feedback on Modulr Div helped us improve it, and we want to keep doing the same with Flow. And if you find it useful, don’t forget to favorite and like it on TradingView. That helps more people discover it and supports us as we keep building more tools for the community. More tools, more context, better decisions. As always, try it out and let us know what you think 👇

We did it again! Here comes another tool inside Modulr, we call it Flow. Modulr.Crypto is now starting to show you what’s happening around the price. So far we’ve added Coinbase Level 2 liquidity data to Flow, letting you visualize where liquidity is sitting in the market and how it changes over time. Coinbase is just the beginning. We’ll be adding additional exchanges and liquidity sources so you can get a broader view of what’s happening across the market. Check it out at crypto.modulr.cloud/flow

We listen to feedback, and one thing we kept hearing was that requesting work on Modulr.Gig needed to be simpler. So we simplified it. Instead of making you dig through categories, filters, and pages trying to figure out where to start, we integrated our AI agents directly into the Request experience. Just tell it what you need done in plain English. “I need a bed frame assembled.” “My yard is getting out of hand.” “I need a deep clean before I move out.” Our agents can help understand what you’re looking for and point you toward the right services available in your area. Don’t worry, you can still browse around normally too. Think of this as having a customer service rep sitting right there with you, ready to help you find the right service when you need it. Less searching. Less friction. Just tell Modulr.Gig what you need. gig.modulr.cloud

🚨 COMMUNITY CONTENT CONTEST During our anniversary giveaway review, our blockchain analysis tools at crypto.modulr.cloud identified multiple winning entries connected to the same individual. Those prizes were forfeited. So we're putting that MDR right back where it belongs: the community. 💛 We're launching a new Modulr Content Contest & EVERYONE is eligable. Here's the challenge: Use a product or tool within the Modulr ecosystem and create a post showing or talking about your experience. Show us what you created. Tell us what feature you like. Share how you're using Modulr. Have an idea for something we could improve? We want to hear that too. Be creative. We want to see real experiences from real users. To enter: • Create an original post about your experience using Modulr • Tag @ModulrCloud • Include a screenshot, video, creation, or other original content from your experience • One entry per person 🏆 Selected winners will receive 50 MDR each. We'll also use the same MDR holder multiplier system from our anniversary livestream when evaluating eligible entries. Time to show us what you're building with Modulr.

Another tool we’ve been testing is now available to the Modulr. community. Introducing Modulr Div, a free TradingView indicator built to help identify bullish and bearish divergences as they develop. I’ve been testing it personally for the past several weeks. Like any indicator, it isn’t going to get every setup right, but I’ve been impressed enough with the results that I wanted to put it in the community’s hands and see what everyone else thinks. Along with identifying bullish and bearish divergence, Modulr Div also includes a strength indicator to give you another quick reference for how strong the detected divergence may be. It’s completely free. Use it, test it, break it, ignore it. Whatever works for you. More importantly, if you have feedback or ideas for improving it, let us know. A lot of the tools we build get better because the community actually uses them and tells us what they want to see next. It may not appear in TradingView search yet, so use the direct link: tradingview.com/script/aJDH8… Indicators are tools, not guarantees. Nothing here is financial advice.

We’ve added a new Taxes section to the Modulr crypto app. Drop in a wallet address and the system can begin breaking down things like: • Gas and transaction fees • Short-term vs. long-term gains • Cost basis and taxable transactions • Form 8949 data for you or your accountant It’s still a work in progress, and that’s exactly why we want the community using it. If you work with crypto taxes, DeFi, multiple wallets, or just have an idea for something you think we should support, give it a try and tell us what we’re missing. We build these tools for the ecosystem, so your feedback directly helps shape what comes next. What would you like to see next?

We love sharing the tools we create with our community and seeing whether they get as much value out of them as we do. So, here’s another one: Crypto. We originally built it because we were paying for a service to track wallet and KOL activity and eventually thought… why don’t we just build our own? Drop in a wallet and you can explore activity, holdings, fund flows, connected wallets, and even map where funds came from and where they went through an interactive web visualization. It’s especially useful for projects looking to better understand KOL activity, but it’s open for anyone in the community to play with. It does use credits since querying the underlying data has a real cost, but otherwise, jump in and give it a try. Would love to hear what you think 👇 crypto.modulr.cloud

Last night we made a pretty significant change to the Core/Apps experience. Previously, the Apps page was built around the idea of virtually “installing” software into your workspace. It worked, but over time it became clear that the experience was more complicated than it needed to be. So we refactored it around a much simpler idea: tiles. Instead of treating every app like a piece of software you need to open and manage separately, Apps can now present information from across the ecosystem directly on one dashboard. And that’s really the bigger idea behind this change. Core was always intended to become a kind of super-dashboard for the wider ecosystem; it's a place where you can quickly understand what’s happening without having to jump between a dozen different applications. The new tile system gets us much closer to that. We’ve also integrated a base AI layer that can understand and work with the information represented by these tiles, which gives us another way to connect different parts of the ecosystem together rather than treating every product as an isolated experience. We’re continuing to implement messaging protocols that will allow our other applications to send information and updates back into Core. Those updates will eventually populate their respective tiles, meaning the Apps page becomes less of an app launcher and more of a live view into everything happening across your workspace. We’ve also created general-purpose tiles; things like news, weather, files, messages, and other useful information so the dashboard doesn’t have to be limited strictly to applications. There’s still more to build. The current layout is intentionally a little more static while we get the underlying systems in place, but longer term we want people to be able to add new tiles, remove things they don’t care about, and shape the dashboard around the information that matters to them. For now, though, the biggest improvement is also the simplest one: It’s cleaner. It’s easier to understand. And it makes Core. feel much more like the central nervous system of the ecosystem we’ve been trying to build. Sometimes a refactor isn’t about adding more. Sometimes it’s about making everything that’s already there work better together. Try it out and let us know what you think 👇 core.modulr.cloud
