I am upset to hear of the death of Stephanie Cole - was lucky enough to have received a letter from her a couple years ago.

A sad day for millions.
He was an actor who just knew what to do with comedy, and how to deliver a funny line, but over and above that was a terrific leading man. Farewell, Mr Tripp/Turpin. #RichardOSullivan

Sad to hear that Norman Eshley has passed away. Began his screen career in an Orson Welles film (pictured) & demonstrated a fine range, from comedy to horror. My father was absolutely delighted with his performance as a cowardly graduate rookie in Sweeney episode Taste of Fear.
