Another fantastic investment for the greenkeeping team @TheScanGolf with the delivery of our @ventrac today. This will help us mainly in our new rough management strategy but with so many attachments available I’m sure it will become invaluable for our site⛳️😃

At last, after nearly 2 months of snow and ice @TheScanGolf we’ve got a thaw on, hopefully it’s enough to get all this melted and crucially get dried up🤞⛳️

It appears we have found our limit🙈 ☔️40mm this morning on top of an already saturated course and I have never seen us this flooded @TheScanGolf drains are working but they just can’t keep up🤷‍♂️ I think we will need a day or two to recover from this⛳️

Nice morning now @TheScanGolf after another deluge ☔️🙈 during set-up, well into November now & I wonder how many more weekends of golf🏌️‍♂️we’ll get? At least our drainage & sandcap is really paying dividends during this really wet spell @RTJ2GolfDesign

It can be difficult sometimes to be positive when it basically hasn’t stopped raining ☔️ for 6 weeks @TheScanGolf but seeing the new reservoir two thirds full already is a massive positive ⛳️😃

Another machine that’s new to us @TheScanGolf very impressed so far with the @ventrac tough-cut deck & the amazing stability of the tractor, thanks to Lindholm’s for an extended demo👍⛳️

Bunker sand consistency is often a hot-button issue at golf courses. Things can get even worse during summer as sun, rain, irrigation, and heavy play make sand more variable than ever. Here's a few things golfers should know about why bunkers will never be totally consistent.

Incredible scenes @TheScanGolf perfect morning again & Old course is the challenge facing our club championship players ⛳️ normally plays a couple of shots easier than New but with @MartinSelck placing tough but fair pins lets see🏌️‍♂️😃

A taste of this month's ranking: the Top 100 Holes in Continental Europe. A considerable task and clearly many, many great holes aren't in - but there are 100 brilliant ones of widely varying appeal in the list, I'm sure of that... from Finland to Turkey & Portugal to Estonia.

At long last some decent morning temps @TheScanGolf and with only 5mm of rain the last 28 days the new reservoir proving its worth already 💦 still looking forward to some rain next week 🤞⛳️

Another frost this morning ❄️ @TheScanGolf don’t think I’ve known them this far into May but at least the high winds💨 of the last few days have calmed down and we can get some much needed water 💦 on the turf ⛳️
