Today marks @Seafarers_KGFS’ first National Fishing Remembrance Day – a chance to honour those who have lost their lives fishing.

The first National Fishing Remembrance Day will be marked at Albert Pier today at 15:30. The ceremony will include the laying of a wreath, along with a prayer and the reading of the names of those lost at sea. Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome to attend.
